Western Wayne County Conservation Association

Handgun Committee

“Our handgun events are held for the enjoyment of our participants and to provide them a safe venue for handgun skills improvement”

WWCCA (Western Wayne County Conservation Association) is located on 80+ acres at the western edge of Wayne County in Plymouth Township. The private club is open 360 days a year, Monday through Thursday and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm, Friday’s from 10am to midnight and Sunday from 10am to 8pm. As our name implies we are conservationists promoting the well being of our forests, waters and wildlife.

Chairman's Message

Always & still true . . . clean your handguns, and perform live-fire & dry-fire practice drills; The good news is, while you are home between events bored, dry fire practicing would make it more enjoyable and prepare yourself for that first event date to TBD. Also, this is a great time to clean and closely inspect your handguns. Don't forget to change your Dot batteries, cheap insurance for a trouble-free summer of shooting.

As most of you are aware, I help our shooters with handgun reliability problems. Excluding the obvious broken parts, the most two frequent causes of an HG that is not as reliable as it can be were dirty handguns and ammo selection. See my link below on handgun reliability for more details.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact one of us. That is what we are here for - to help you as you need.
